The Story Behind
LISKA

A dream coming to life.

I’ve been sketching designs since I was a little girl. My notebooks were full of bikini designs, even some for mermaids (still need to tap into that market lol). It’s something I’ve always been drawn to and could only picture the main character in an early 2000's rom-com actually doing.

I remember being 19 and having this sudden rush of inspiration and drive to finally start pursuing that dream. Years of life changes, priorities, speed bumps, and responsibilities went by - and now, ten years later, it’s finally become my reality.

The name LISKA has always been more than just a brand name - it’s the name I always pictured for my swimwear. It’s what my family, including my late father, lovingly called me - a nickname from my Russian roots, short for Elizabeth (and also a sweet way of saying “little fox,” fun fact). It’s always been filled with love, warmth, and home - and now it’s an integral part of the brand I’ve built.

LISKA was created because I believe you shouldn’t have to pick between feeling confident, comfortable, or beautiful — you deserve all of it. Every piece is designed to move with you, flatter your body, and make you feel good in your own skin - whether you’re on the beach, by the pool, or just living life.

I’ve poured my heart into every detail, and I hope you love wearing LISKA as much as I’ve loved creating it.
